A church that is mission minded is reaching out to the community at their doorstep and beyond with God's love.  Below you will find some of our mission endeavors here at First Christian Vinton.

On a weekly basis, we provide the follwing outreach:

• SUNDAY SCHOOL
• MORNING WORSHIP & COMMUNION
• MUSIC MINISTRY

On a monthly basis, we support local outreach ministries such as:

• DISTRICT III DISCIPLE MEN'S MEETING (SEMI-MONTHLY)
• ROANOKE CITY RESCUE MISSION
• PRESBYTERIAN COMMUNITY CENTER
• ROANOKE AREA MINISTRIES (RAM HOUSE)
• VIRGINIA REGION OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH (DISCIPLES OF CHRIST)

Special yearly outreach events include:

• MIDWAY COMMUNITY HYMN SINGS
• FAMILY DINNERS AT VARIOUS TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
• VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
• COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS OUTREACH

We also receive a number of special voluntary mission offerings throughout the year and conduct regular food drives and school supply drives such as:
