We will be baptizing two people in the morning service on August 24th.  Join us for this very special time.

Our annual School Supply drive is August 24th and 31st.  Please leave your donations in the foyer.  We will collect them and take them to Herman Horn Elementary here in Vinton.

August 31st is our annual Labor Day Service.  Everyone is encouraged to wear the clothes / uniform that they normally wear to work as we celebrate all of our various professions.

HIGH ATTENDANCE SUNDAY is September 7th.  Invite everyone you can to help fill our pews.

FALL REVIVAL also begins September 7th and runs through the 9th at 6:30 each evening.  Brother E.C. Redmond, former pastor, will be bringing the message.  Join us for a time of special music and preaching and spiritual renewal.  The choir from Midland Baptist will bless us in music one of those evenings.

The Disciples General Minister and Pastor's Conference will be held in Chicago this year from Monday, September 8th through the 10th.

District III Board will meet Tuesday, September 9th at 7 p.m. at Fort Lewis Christian Church

CASUAL OUTDOOR SERVICE AND BRUNCH will be held Sunday, September 14th at 10:30 a.m. (note different service time).  Join us as we worship outside in God's creation in the side church yard (weather permitting) and then fellowship together inside for a light brunch.

Pastor Brian has been invited to sing for a Revival in Rocky Mount Tuesday evening, Septebmer 23rd at 7:30.  If you are interested in going, please see him so carpool arrangements can be made.

Christian Women's Union Fall Forum will be held at High Street Baptist Church in Roanoke on Friday, September 26th.  Please contact the church office for more information

YOUTH SUNDAY will be observed on September 28th.  Our youth will be leading us in worship that day.  Invite a friend and support our youth, the future of our church!

BREAD FOR THE WORLD Sunday will be October 19th.  Envelopes will be made avaialable if you'd like to give a gift to help alleviate world hunger.

TRUNK OR TREAT here at the church on Friday, October 24th at 6 p.m.  Games food and fun for the kids.  NO SCARY COSTUMES, but costumes are welcome and encouraged.  Bring some candy for the kids to come trunk to trunk of each vehicle in the parking lot for "Trick or Treat".

CPR CLASS to be taught here at the church on Saturday, October 25th from 8 a.m. till approximately Noon.  Fee is $35 per person.  Bring a towel to kneel on, all other materials provided.  Call or email the church to sign up as space is limited.

DISTRICT III ANNUAL ASSEMBLY will be at Westhampton CC on Sunday, October 26th at 3 p.m.  A fellowship meal will follow at 5 p.m.

Church Women United World Community Day will be held Friday, November 7th.  More information available from the chruch office.

THANKSGIVING LUNCHEON will be held here at the church right after morning worship on Sunday, November 9th.  We will also celebrate our October, November and December Birthdays and Anniversaries at that same meal.  Invite a friend.

MIDWAY COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING EVE SERVICE will be held Wednesday, November 26th.  Exact church location and time to be announced.

HANGING OF THE GREENS SERVICE to be held Sunday, November 30th.  Make plans to be here for this festive time of decorating the church for the Christmas season.

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM will be held in the 11 a.m. service on December 14th.

CHURCHWIDE CHRISTMAS DINNER at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 20th at Famous Anthony's Restaurant on Rt. 460 in Roanoke.

CHRISTMAS CHORAL CELEBRATION by the Chancel Choir will be presented Sunday, December 21st at 11 a.m.  It is a work entitled JOY TO THE WORLD by Jonathan Crumpton.  You won't want to miss it!
